I wanted to be with him every second of every day. I realized how deep and intense my feelings for him were. I was thrilled to see that in Beta, Jasinda brought in his POV, and yes, we were really able to see his weaknesses, but I never felt like it turned him into a simpering pussy at all.īeta begins with Valentine and Kyrie are traveling the world, and having sex non-stop in every different way, in every different country. The one thing I had really wanted in Alpha was Valentine’s point of view, though I was a bit worried, because often times when we see the vulnerability in the man’s POV, they don’t seem quite as alpha and commanding. The thing I really loved about Beta was the demonstration of love between Kyrie and Valentine.
But Beta took it to another level! Beta took the sexy, erotic romance, and brought in lots of elements of some of Jasinda (and her husband’s) more exciting (not THAT kind of exciting) and suspenseful, action packed reads, The Missionary and Captured.īeta does not stand alone, though it is a whole new storyline. It was one of the hottest books I’ve read this year, and I loved the commanding alpha presence of Valentine Roth.
